Pearl Garden, Ed.D. is an Elementary ELAR Consultant at Region 10 Education Service Center, where she supports K–5 teachers in strengthening literacy instruction. With 28 years of experience in education, she has served as a classroom teacher, teacher educator, and adjunct professor.Dr. Garden is a former Chair of the Texas Association of Literacy Education and has published in academic journals and professional blogs, including Literacy Today and McGraw-Hill’s Art of Teaching. She also authors Literacy Pearls, a blog focused on practical, research-based strategies for educators.She is passionate about advancing equitable literacy outcomes and is committed to helping educators close the achievement gap while supporting the whole child.
