About me
Terri Harkey is an accomplished educator and library leader, boasting a Bachelor of Music Education, a Master of Library Science, and Principal Certification. Having retired as a school librarian, she leaves behind a legacy marked by recognition as a finalist for the TCEA Library Media Specialist award. Terri’s excellence extends to four-time Teacher of the Year honors and an impressive twelve-year tenure with the Texas Bluebonnet Committee. Presently, she serves as the Bluebonnet Award Coordinator for the Texas Library Association, contributes as an Educational Consultant for several Tech Companies, and is a Dallas ISD Librarian Mentor. Terri is also the author of the upcoming book, The Curriculum-Connected Library, which focuses on helping school librarians become instructional leaders through meaningful curriculum integration and collaboration. Her passion lies in fostering a connection between the joy of reading and a commitment to lifelong learning through the magic of literature and technology.
